Experience Naval Battles, the IfSunSets Way!
We don't aim to create ships that move with strict realism.
Instead, because this is a fantasy world, our goal is to deliver naval gameplay that is fast, lightweight, easy to pick up, and above all, fun.

※ Known Issue
The Missile Cannon currently controls differently from the other cannons, and its firing range may vary depending on the camera view.
We will address this issue in a hotfix as soon as possible.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

🔧 \[Changes & Additions]
Significantly Increased Ship Speed & Turning Performance
The base movement speed and turning speed of both the Raft and Sailing Ship have been significantly increased.
At IfSunSets, we don't aim to create ships with slow, realistic movement.
Instead, because this is a fantasy world, our goal is to deliver ships that are fast, lightweight, easy to control, and above all, fun.
A Whole New Way to Sail
Ships in IfSunSets aren't just vehicles—they're designed to feel like an entirely new playable character.
Every Sailing Ship now comes equipped with a Booster and an Emergency Thruster by default, making every voyage more dynamic from the moment you set sail.
Powered by Bloody Kid's technology, these devices allow for incredible bursts of speed and rapid emergency maneuvers.
The Booster and Emergency Thruster help players dodge incoming attacks and reposition quickly, making high-mobility ship combat a core part of IfSunSets' unique naval action experience.
Booster

Hold the assigned key and choose a direction to rapidly accelerate, consuming Booster energy as you move.
The Booster functions much like a character's sprint, allowing for fast and responsive movement.
Emergency Propulsion System

Press the assigned key to instantly generate thrust in the direction of your choice, allowing you to perform sudden stops and sharp turns.
The Emergency Thruster works much like a character's dodge roll, giving you a quick burst of movement to evade danger and reposition instantly.
Ship Self-Repair!

Craft Ship Repair Kits at the workbench to repair your ship yourself. (Looks like Bloody Kid just lost one of his sources of income...)
Think of Ship Repair Kits as the ship equivalent of a healing item for your character.
Store Repair Kits in the Ship Management menu and use them with a hotkey whenever your ship is in danger.
Even if your ship is destroyed, you can gather the required materials and repair it yourself.
New Ancient Technology Devices That Grant Ship Skills!

Sailing Ships can now be equipped with Ancient Technology Devices that grant powerful new abilities.
Craft and install these devices to unlock ship skills that can be activated with dedicated hotkeys.
Use a variety of abilities—including a Flamethrower, Shield Generator, and an Underwater Scanner that detects items hidden beneath the sea—to gain the upper hand on your adventures.
New Cannons Added!

New types of ship cannons have been added, each offering a unique combat style.
Auto Cannon – Fires rapidly with continuous shots.
Missile Cannon – Features a long reload time and delayed impact, but delivers the highest damage.
Torpedo Cannon – Launches torpedoes in a straight line to strike enemies directly ahead.
Buoy Cannon – Deploys floating explosive buoys that function like naval mines on the water.
New Enemy Sailing Ships!
New enemy sailing ships have appeared in the waters surrounding Luminora Island.
Assault Ship

The Assault Ship is a sailing vessel designed exclusively for ramming attacks.
Getting too close to this ship is extremely dangerous.
While it doesn't fire cannons, it will relentlessly charge at the player in an attempt to ram your ship.
Scout Ship

The Patrol Ship serves as the naval equivalent of a scout.
The moment it spots the player, it fires a signal flare to call in Suicide Ships.
Suicide Ship

The Suicide Ship has only one objective: crash into the player's ship and detonate, dealing massive damage.
A New Enemy Appears: Titan!
The Titan is a colossal magical war machine with overwhelming power, almost as if it were a living creature.
Only a select few of the Empire's greatest captains are deemed worthy of commanding a Titan.
However, the Empire has suffered several incidents in which Titans were stolen. Some of those stolen Titans fell into the hands of pirates, giving rise to some of the most notorious pirate crews ever to terrorize the Empire's seas.

A new sailing ship boss, the Titan, has appeared in the waters surrounding Luminora Island.
The Titan is a colossal boss ship that rules the seas.
It spawns at designated locations and stands guard over the ocean, preventing players from escaping Luminora Island.
Each Titan is equipped with its own unique array of advanced weaponry and features exclusive attack patterns that set it apart from the others.
With far greater firepower and vastly higher durability than ordinary sailing ships, the Titan is an enemy that demands caution and preparation before engaging.
Boarding Combat, the IfSunSets Way!

The Boarding Combat system has arrived in IfSunSets.
Boarding begins after you've defeated a Titan in naval combat and interact with it.
Titans feature enormous decks that serve as sprawling battlefields, transforming the encounter into a full-scale war on the open sea.
Hundreds of enemy sailors, led by their captain, will be waiting for you and your allies as you board the ship.
In Boarding Combat, the captain is the key to victory. Once the battle begins, one member of your team is designated as the captain, and it is your mission to protect them.
Defeat the enemy captain to win the boarding battle. Once their captain falls, the remaining enemy sailors will surrender.
If other players are aboard your ship, or if you have crew members assigned to it, they will join you in the boarding battle and fight alongside you.
New Underwater Strongholds Discovered!

The new Underwater Base system lets you build your own underwater sanctuary by connecting modular cube rooms.
Enjoy complete freedom in construction, create glass observation rooms with breathtaking views of the deep sea, and establish a safe haven where you never have to worry about oxygen. A whole new way to survive beneath the waves awaits.
Have you always wanted your own giant aquarium? Or do the dangers of the night outweigh its rewards? Then it's time to build your home beneath the sea.
While the required materials are expensive, an Underwater Base provides a secure refuge, protecting you from the dangers of both the sea and the land.
Content Overview
Build Your Own Underwater Base
Connect modular cube rooms horizontally or vertically to expand your base however you like.
Windows to the Deep
From enclosed rooms to fully panoramic glass chambers, enjoy breathtaking views of the deep sea and the marine life beyond your walls.
A Breathable Safe Haven

Expand from Within
No need to leave your base. Construct new rooms directly from inside by expanding through existing walls.
Decorate Your Personal Sanctuary
Customize your underwater home with decorative pillars, underwater lamps, and other furnishings to make it truly your own.
Giant Sea Monsters!

Massive sea creatures now roam the open ocean.
If you're lucky, you may encounter one during your voyage.
For now, they don't exhibit any special behaviors—but that may change in future updates.
Some of these giant sea monsters carry various collectibles on their backs for adventurous sailors to gather. (Don't worry... at least for now, they won't attack you.)
New Night Monster Priority System!
Previously, when Night Monsters encountered defensive structures surrounding a player's base, they would simply attack the first building directly in front of them—even if a much weaker structure was right beside it.
Now, Night Monsters prioritize weaker structures, lower-tier buildings, and more accessible targets.
They will also analyze the terrain and choose the shortest and least obstructed path to reach their objective.
Defending against Night Monsters will now require real planning and strategy, rather than relying on simple wall placement.
🔧 \[Other Changes & Additions]
Improved buoyancy, allowing players to float naturally in water. (No more swimming in mid-air.)
Players can now interact with objects while mounted. (Yes, you can finally gather Yellow Flowers without dismounting.)
Monsters will now continue moving toward players even while performing attack animations, making combat more challenging.
Camera shake has been added when hitting monsters.
Hunger and Thirst have been standardized to a maximum value of 100, and food item values have been adjusted accordingly. (These values currently improve readability, but food statistics will become more detailed in future updates.)
Arrows fired by one player will no longer block or interfere with another player's attacks against enemies. (However, if the bow's ally-healing skill is enabled, arrows can still hit teammates.)
New Poise-boosting Jewels have been added and placed throughout the world.
When building ships through Logan, only the Raft is now shown. Sailing Ships have been removed from the list.
The Electric Club dropped by Aporates is now obtained as a blueprint and must be crafted using collected materials.
The selling prices of all ores have been increased.
The selling prices of blueprint items have been reduced.
The Purification Jewel Blueprint can now be obtained at the entrance to the Red Wetlands.
The item formerly known as Anesthetic has been renamed Powerful Healing Potion and has been reworked to serve as an upgraded healing item.
The default camera while sailing has been changed to a quarter-view. You can switch back to the previous third-person view using the camera toggle key.
Crafting items at workbenches are now displayed in a more organized order.
The early Survival Guide crafting objective now accepts any weapon, instead of only Spears and Clubs.
