The shadow of Fuzan looms overhead, and as such, we're presenting this "Vital Information" doc that contains info you should know about before jumping into the Umbral Sands update.
We'll look to keep the list below up to date as best we can as issues are resolved. The best way to let us know of a problem is via the Discord Bug Reports channel! Read the formatting guide before you post to help us track down issues faster!

Fuel Pellet Journal Entry incorrectly states where you craft it.
Issue affecting Death Exchange or Evil Emporium vendors requiring reputation from Umbral Sands.
Notification showing incorrect value of inventory items' stacks at Umbral Sands' Merchants.
Garou Chit values are incorrectly displayed on inventory items.
Fixed an issue where Food healing values were incorrectly halved on localised text strings.
Quantities in the UI popup on the left are doubling up on Dedicated Servers.
Certain Terrorbird variant consumables unlock the same variants, preventing others from being used.
"Contact!" and "Mapping the Sands I" show the player receiving two named rewards on the UI instead of one.

This patch re-enables localisation support for Steam Clients - the language your Steam Client is in will now automatically inform the game what language to start in.

Top Issues Being Investigated
General
The team are investigating an issue where using Splinter or cutting Willow Trees into logs is causing a crash on Dedicated Servers.
We're aware of an issue where Yew plots don't snap correctly.
We're investigating the issue surrounding Axetral Projection and Splinter also deleting tree stumps on cast.
We aren't currently able to replicate the Dowdun Reach Barrier issue being reported where some users can't progress through it.
The team are investigating an issue where using Splinter or cutting Willow Trees into logs is causing a crash on Dedicated Servers.
Achievements are not triggering when completed on new OR existing characters. Both kinds should be able to trigger achievements from now on.
Achievements will NOT unlock retroactively.
If the player cuts down a tree with one axe swing, they will not unlock the Achievement "Chop Chop".
There are two greyed-out flying carpet mounts which cannot be unlocked.
If the player unlocks a new mount skin before they acquire a Terrorbird mount from completing The Wild Hunt quest, they will have a defunct "mount" prompt on their HUD until the quest is completed.
There is a short delay where players can be attacked on first login (~3-5 seconds).
Four of the Terrorbird mount drops all unlock the same variant of Terrorbird mount, we are investigating a fix.
Rune count is visible when equipping the Vestige Staff from Umbral Sands.
There is no video for the spell 'Trunk Totem' in the spell book.
Items
There are a few instances of "Hard Leather" situated in loot chests in Umbral Sands which are now defunct and do not merge into recipes.
UI
Scrolling down the skills page requires manual input (no hold action) for controllers.
The Fuzan Shield displays the incorrect icon in some places.
Fire Cape vestige reward drop in the right side of the screen shows an incorrect icon.
Input glyphs disappear from the dialogue UI if the player switches control method when starting the interaction.
The in-game Air & Water magic Tutorial videos incorrectly show Fire magic. Toasty!
Quests
The map marker for the Umbral Sands quest 'Contact!' has incorrect location and size in some instances.
Some textures on the Avisk model are not displayed correctly on the Umbral Sands quest 'Contact!'
On Medium graphics settings and below, the Chamber barrier Umbral Sands quest 'Contact!' is not visible.
The Sand VFX trail for the 'Beast in the Sand' quest is not visible for clients.
Lagra, Alcarrid’s Butcher will not accept quest items if the players inventory is full.
During the 'Rogue Trader' quest, if the player has picked up a Moonstone prior to the quest the map icons can show incorrectly.
Quest Started audio sting plays when talking to Hedric The Hunter even if the player already has the task.
Dedicated Server-Specific Issues
These issues are only currently replicated in Dedicated Servers.
The following interfaces show the incorrect values in the right-hand side.
Players moving stacks while trading in the Merchant's Shop may show the incorrect currency value when trading with the vendor. You are receiving the correct amount.
Axetral Projection only highlights the first tree in range.
Quest Rewards for "Contact!" and "Mapping the Sands" incorrectly show the player receiving 2 of the named reward when they actually receive 1.
Sale value of items is incorrectly displayed. The actual value is double the listed value.
Players not playing in English: Food item descriptions are currently showing old health values - these have since been doubled.
Lightning can strike players in their own bases despite being sheltered in some instances. Bendy lightning!
World/Environment
Trees are "blooming" or distorting when approached - the team are investigating a cause but are currently unable to reproduce the bug on either AMD or Nvidia hardware, but we have seen reports from both.
Audio
Creating three Trunk Totems then harvesting them will cause the third to not be able to be harvested.
This will also cause the audio to persist.
Combat music may not resolve when exiting to menu or dying.
