Update Information

\[BETA] Zombie Scenario Special Balance Test Update Notice

Hello. This is Counter-Strike Nexon. Today, we would like to explain the purpose of the Zombie Scenario Special Balance Test, which begins on June 10th, and outline the main changes. Please refer to below for the more details regarding the update. 1. Focused operation of 3 test maps categorized by difficulty level For this test, we have selected three distinct maps based on structure and characteristic factors such as stage length, monster composition, and the proportion of boss encounters.

• Season 3-2 Enemy Behind

We intentionally excluded maps that are frequently played, as they may be heavily influenced by existing play patterns, and we plan to assess how players adapt to different situations and gauge the perceived difficulty while playing each map. 2. Zombie Scenario Balance Adjustments The core changes of the test are increased Attack/HP of monsters. While the Human Team's combat power has steadily increased over time thanks to various weapon updates and the addition of Parts and Add-Ons, monster stats have remained largely unchanged for quite some time. This test is an attempt to bridge that gap, and we'd like to see how the adjusted difficulty level creates a sense of tension for you, and what kind of enjoyment it brings to the gameplay experience. 3. Revival Item Cooldown Reduction To alleviate the burden on players resulting from the increased difficulty and to ensure smooth testing, we have significantly reduced the cooldown time for revival items.

4. Test Exclusive Costume Reward Added Special rewards will be provided to Survivors who participate in the test. Upon clearing each map, you can obtain new costume items inspired by the boss designs.

* Costumes have a certain chance of appearing in the reward boxes that drop when you defeat a boss. 5. Improvements in Claiming Rewards To reduce instances where Survivors miss their rewards because it proceeds to the summary screen too quickly after clearing a level, we are implementing the following improvements.

• Time before summary screen appears after defeating a boss increased from 5 seconds → 10 seconds.

• If a box with the Exclusive Costume drops, it will be highlighted.

• A feature will be added that automatically collects boxes dropped by zombies and bosses if they are not collected within a certain amount of time.

* Above changes are only applicable to the 3 test maps.

New ZHC Weapon Added

\[ZHC] Star Chaser SR will be added to the ZHC mode.

Part Eligible Weapons Added

AN94 will now be able to have Parts equipped.

* The base damage value of weapons eligible for Part Open will depend on the level of the original weapon.

Buy Menu Search Feature

A search bar will be added that allows you to search weapons by names in the in-game buy menu.

How to Use:

• Click the search bar at the top of the weapon selection screen or use the shortcut (Ctrl + F).

• Search by weapon name, then select a weapon using the mouse or arrow keys.

• Press Esc or click the X button in the upper-right corner to close the search bar.

AI Improvements

Zombie Mode bots will be updated to behave differently depending on the stage of the round. While the existing bots operated on a simple structure, this update will allow them to distinguish situations in greater detail and introduce new behavior patterns.

* This update focuses on diversifying the bots' behavior patterns. It is not intended to make the bots smarter or increase the difficulty level.

* Please note that the purpose of these ongoing maintenance updates is to provide a more natural and varied gameplay experience.

Random Weapon Zombie Hero Classic Event (6/10 - 7/8)

"New weapons every round—you'll be hooked after just one match." Experience diverse weapon combinations firsthand in every round, and discover hidden combat thrills. Freely enjoy weapons you rarely get to use.

Notes

• When you're on the Zombie Team, your zombie class will be selected by chance.

• When you're on the Human Team, your primary weapon, secondary weapon, melee weapon, and grenade will be selected by chance.

• Base game rules are the same as Zombie Hero Classic.

• Available weapons are determined regardless of individual ownership.

• Armor distribution is fixed.

• When using a Supply Box (E key), instead of a shop window, you will select another random weapon.

You can use the Death Eater weapon for free every week while the Training Camp is active. Reach 3 Weekly Logins, and you'll be able to use the Death Eater weapon permanently.

You will receive rewards based on the number of badges earned via participating in the Training Camp. The final rewards include the Scout Recruit, which is a token of graduation, Smile Mary -- the paired class of the Death Eater you got from the Transcendence Permanent event -- and an All-in-One Pass, which allows you to use Epic/Transcendence Weapons and Transcendence Classes without restriction.

• In Zombie Scenario mode, this class has a higher max level than normal classes.

• Adds 1 initial mutation in Zombie Z Mode.

• This character shows your current damage at the bottom of the screen.

• Upon killing an enemy, leaves a unique mark at the target location.

• Marks Zombies at 20% HP or below in Zombie Mode.

• Deimos's Shockwave skill will be rolled back to the previous spec of dropping the hit targets' weapons.

• Some issues will be fixed regarding certain weapons. In Zombie Hero Classic Mode, certain weapons's Movement Speed will be changed. (M950 Trans-Gear's Movement Speed 250 → 254, Warhammer Blood Lord's Movement Speed 260 → 255)

• The issue where the Blood Requiem Medal progress does not increase when using the Abyss Repulsor or Miracle Prism Sword painted in Death Rose will be fixed.

• \[ZHC] Dual Beretta Gunslinger's incorrect tooltip text will be fixed.

• P90 Turtle Rabbit weapon's Movement Speed text issue will be fixed.

• Recoil Blitz weapon's reload animation issue will be fixed.

• Recoil Blitz T1's Encyclopedia Preview video will be updated.

• The issue where the Thunder Flash VI's invincibility cooldown is not resetting upon changing map will be fixed.

• Villa map will be removed from the Item Mode map list.

• The issue where defeating the boss of Zombie Scenario Pursuit: Ep. Rendezvous creates two Reward Boxes will be fixed.

• The issue where selecting a Human Scenario Mode displays the Settings UI out of alignment with other Mode Settings will be fixed.

• English typo for the Ironworks map loading image will be fixed.

• The issue where the middle boss does not appear in the Zombie Scenario Mode Pursuit: End of Madness will be fixed.

• The issue where creating a new room sometimes causes the basic creation settings to appear blank will be fixed.

• The issue where some passive effects are enabled in the Disaster Zone mode will be fixed.

• The issue where the boss can go out of map bounds in the New Zombie Shelter Mode City of Damned will be fixed.

• The issue where Class Stats use the value of 1 higher level will be fixed.

• The issue where attacking Zombies, while using Sprint, does not apply the Legendary Rank Set Stage 2 Effect will be fixed.

• The issue with Health Up Part's HP increase effect will be fixed.

• The issue where the Player ID does not fully appear in the game results screen will be fixed.

• The issue where usernames were being converted incorrectly in certain locations will be fixed.

• The issue where the Overflow gauge appeared abnormally while using Giga Break will be fixed.

• The issue where Studio Shelter Mode was incorrectly listed as New Zombie Shelter Mode in the \[Quick Start] → \[Select Multiple Modes] menu will be fixed.
