Act III Maps and Dungeons
Act 3 will have new maps and new dungeons with underwater environments 🌊.
Some parts of the dungeons are flooded and you won't be able to see that well once you go underwater, so be careful of the creatures that lurk in the murky depths.
New Respawn Mechanics
We know spectating is fun, especially watching your friends die or cheering them on but it's not as nice as playing the game for real. And honestly, sometimes it's boring, so that is something we've always been trying to address. Apart from the Dark Shrine, Sarcophagus and Respawn Egg (where they give alive players the ability to revive unalive players) we have added the Respawn Dice and Plan B.
Respawn Dice
In spectate mode, you can roll the Respawn Dice for a chance to get revived next to a companion. Keep rolling until you respawn. No limits on the rolls. So even when you are dead, you still get some control on your own revive chances, rather than depending on your teammates.
Plan B
This is a Treasure that revives you automatically when you die.
Both these revive mechanics will respawn you next to a random player when triggered, or if no player is found, will respawn you back on the Home island.
Launch Date
The launch is coming soon for the full release. Depending on how the closed beta goes we'll announce a date shortly!
