Sneak Peek: Post-Launch Major Update 1 - Cumulative Days for Unlocks
In Post-Launch Major Update 1, we’re introducing a major evolution to the Progression System.
Unlocking new tools and items will now be tied to your total cumulative days survived on the island. Every day you survive becomes a persistent resource that contributes toward future unlocks.
This change makes progression less punishing, encourages to take more risks, improves early-game flow, and makes each run feel meaningful - even when things don’t go according to plan.
So even unsuccessful runs will still contribute toward long-term progression and experimentation.
But that’s not all! Stay tuned for more content coming in Major Update 1, including new features and new dangers lurking in the night.
