Time to pan fry some bacon. This update includes the whole new PUBG Weapons Pack for FREE, bringing you the iconic Frying Pan and Flare Gun from the Battlegrounds!

The update also includes fixes and adjustments to items from the previously released Espionage Weapon Pack. We have gotten a lot of feedback and are happy that you liked our offerings. It's clear that the Ballerina was the weakest link in the pack, so based on your suggestions it has been given some improvements!

General

• Card drops will now factor already owned masks into mask drops

  • This will make masks you do not already own drop more frequently

• Added a safety check to support mods causing '_sound_fire' crashes

• Added a safety check for a potential mod conflict relating to menu scene managers

• Fixed ECM Feedback timers being shorter then intended since the last update

• Fixed occasional crash on Steam if the Epic Games Launcher is installed

Interface

• Fixed some mask material loot drops showing the red square icon

• Fixed the inventory icon for the “Laser Chronometer” being blurry when on low texture quality

• Improved the ingame hud icon of the "Viper Grenade"

Weapons

• Grenade launchers can now equip the -4 accuracy boost to be used with the "Sting Grenade" ammo mod

• Fixed statistic tracking on the Espionage Weapon Pack content

• Fixed a potential crash with modded or invalid van skins

• Fixed a crash relating to legacy Legendary customization locked weapon mods

• Fixed weapon equip animations not playing after masking up

Strix Pistol

• Slightly increased the ammo pickup on with the "OWL Subsonic Kit" equipped to match other similar weapons

Ballerina 9mm

• Added a 5% damage bonus while a target is within 8.5m.

• Increased base ammo pickup from 0.4-2 to 3-5

• Increased base concealment from 21 to 25

• Increased the damage on the "Pointe Barrel" weapon mod from 2 to 12

• Increased the concealment penalty on the "Pointe Barrel" weapon mod from 3 to 4

DECA Technologies Dart Projector

• Fixed crash when shooting a teammate with the "Sedation Dart" while the Friendly Fire mutator is active

• Fixed occasional crash when a player tries to shoot themselves with a “Revival-Stimulant” dart

• Fixed being able replenish darts by picking up arrows

Heists

Firestarter

Couple of updates ago, we removed an oversight that allowed you to jump the fence and be able to complete most the heist without much of a challenge. A lot of players weren't happy with this change and while we don't want to bring the exploit back, we tried to make the existing stealth a bit less unfair as a compromise.

• Airport (Day 1)

  • Alerted gangsters no longer cause the heist to go loud automatically, instead it is triggered by loud gunfire

  • Added a security room spawn

  • Added a 10% stealth completion bonus

  • Added bodybags asset

  • Added glow to some existing lights

  • Made some of the dumpsters openable

  • Fixed navigation issues with the large gates when they are shot open

Nightclub

• Cameras no longer spawn as titan variants on higher difficulties

  • The random chance for titan cameras made the map undesirable to play and players kept restarting until they didnt spawn.

Counterfeit

• Fixed the unlimited ink equipment pickups being consumed on pickup

Slaughter House

• Set the default cosmetic set to the "Legacy Tactical" suit when no default suits are applied

Green Bridge

• Added vision blockers to the under-side of the bridge to prevent enemies shooting players through the floors

Framing Frame

• Art Gallery (Day 1)

  • Fixed a background building that was in the middle of the road near the van

  • Fixed a laser emitter looking the wrong way.

Reservoir Dogs

• Highland Mortuary (Day 1 2)

  • Added missing collision to some electrical boxes

Heat Street

• Fixed the collision on the stairs after reaching the second half of the heist

Brooklyn 10-10

• Fixed the collisions on some stairs in the finale area

GO Bank

• Potentially fixed a rare instance where cage no location is picked, softlocking the heist

Updates may be incompatible with the mods you may have installed. Even seemingly unrelated mods may cause unexpected issues. If you are experiencing any problems with the game; try removing any mods you may have installed and try again.

If you are having issues with an unmodded game you can try to verify the integrity of the game files. In the Steam library; right-click on PAYDAY 2. Select "Properties" from the menu. Under the tab "LOCAL FILES" select "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES...". The process may take some time to finish.
