Quick update: V0.9.0 is now available on the public test branch (see the previous News Post for details). After the Early Access release of AI Pals Engine, I have temporarily switched back to Outnumbered to finish the remaining points on the V1.0 Roadmap.
This update introduces a new game mode: Entropy. I'll continue patching in balancing changes over the coming days (unannounced) leading up to the 1.0 release, which is currently planned for next month.
There's also been a small change to the Roadmap. Instead of adding the Endless Mode, I decided to focus on a sandbox-style mode instead (the runner-up in the survey). I feel the game already offers enough modes with specific goals, while the sandbox mode gives you more freedom to customize the experience and play a quick round that fits your expectations when it comes to speed, pressure, health, difficulty and enemy types. 👾
