Thanks to our developers being unusually productive this week, we’ve finished the DLC ahead of schedule!
The latest free map DLC for Mini Airways — Barra Airport — is now officially live. If you’re used to boring concrete runways, get ready. We’re heading to the Outer Hebrides of Scotland for some beachside action.

Disclaimer on Difficulty
In reality, Barra Airport could never handle the sheer volume of commercial jets we're throwing at it. But this is Mini Airways, so we made it happen anyway. The catch? The operational pressure is, quite frankly, insane.
Truth be told, during internal playtesting, even our best runs barely broke the 100+ mark. Given the "extreme" nature of this map, we have decided not to include the usual 45 and 150 flight achievements. This is to protect your sanity (and your keyboards), as the logic here deviates significantly from our standard levels.
Why did we build this?
Mini Airways was never meant to be a hardcore simulator where you stress over altimeters and frequencies (after all, we don't even have altitude layers!). We want to explore fun, experimental mechanics. Barra is our attempt to see what happens when we break the mold. It’s an experiment, which is why we’re offering it as a separate, free DLC.
Of course, if you’re hoping for some more "normal" maps in the future, don't worry—those are already in the works.
