Sharing of Saved Skins via Steam Workshop

You can now submit a skin to the Steam Workshop by pressing a new "Submit Skin" button that has been added to the user interface!
This button is present on both the main menu and in-game versions of this user interface. When you select "Submit Skin," it will bring up a window where you can name your skin and input a description. Additionally, clicking the large button at the bottom will allow you to take a preview screenshot that will be used for the Steam Workshop item. It automatically will tag the Steam Workshop item as a "BoB_Workshop_Skin," a "Skin," tag it for whichever dinosaur you're submitting it for, and apply tags for all the base skins that have contributed layers to the skin.

*Note that while the files used on Steam Workshop are JSON files, all saved skins now have an anti-tamper placed on them. This means if anything about a saved skin is changed, the skin will no longer load. This applies to both Steam Workshop skins and skins in the local USER_SKINS.sav file. Unfortunately, due to widespread tampering of these files, we have decided old USER_SKINS.sav files will no longer be usable.
Only skins saved from this patch onwards will be loadable by the game.

Admin

+Admin: The Server Manager UI should now reliably load. *Note that searching is disabled until all data has been loaded from the server, which can take some time on large servers.
+Admin: Increased trace size for observer cam attachment to other players, so it should be significantly easier to aim

Sharing of Foliage Files via Steam Workshop

+Admin: Servers can now submit their Foliage.sav files to the Steam Workshop by using a new button on the Foliage Placement Tool. When submitting a file, all the foliage currently placed on the map that is not originating from a currently loaded Steam Workshop foliage file will be downloaded to your client from the server, packaged into a Foliage.sav file, and submitted to Steam Workshop.

*Note that in order to do this, you must have a new permission granted to you by the server. This permission, by default, is not granted to anybody, including global administrators or game developers. This means only server owners can grant permission to obtain these files and submit them.

In order to grant permission for a player to submit a server's foliage file to the Steam Workshop, this permission must be configured in the Game.ini file:
[/Script/BeastsOfBermuda.ServerGameInstance] header:
AdminRanks=(AdminRank="PublishSteamWorkshop",RankLevel=9)
AdminCommandRules=(CommandType=EAdminCommands::SubmitSteamWorkshopFoliageFiles,MinimalRank="PublishSteamWorkshop")
ServerAdmins=(UserSteamId64=76561197994229267,AdminRank="PublishSteamWorkshop")

+Admin: Servers can subscribe to Steam Workshop foliage files by populating a list of Steam Workshop Item IDs they wish to use in their Game.ini config file. Note that multiple files can be loaded at once, and these files can be loaded on top of a server's regular Foliage.sav file. Steam Workshop foliage files will not combine with the server's current Foliage.sav file, so both can be used simultaneously. This allows servers to use Steam Workshop files that populate specific portions of the map and then edit on the map themselves as well.

+Vines and HotSprings have been added to the Foliage Placement Tool.

Skins

+Added new Saichania Skin: Boggy by Johnathan & Natahi4

Global Optimizations

+Switched the Blank material we use to hide eaten foliage to use masked logic instead of translucent (cheaper)
+Improved optimization of burned tropic trees
+Improved frame hitching when loading and unloading tiles on tiled maps like Isla Titania and Temporal Drift
+At far away distances, Freshwater now swaps to a fully opaque shader instead of always being translucent
+Improved LODs for fresh water meshes to improve player interactivity

Temporal Drift Optimizations

+Optimization: Switched Rim Ice Material to Tiled Sections that only load in once close
+Turned off material displacement interactions on the Spruce trees to see if performance improves further
+Ensured all foliage was located inside landscape tiles and not on the persistent level

Temporal Drift

+Added new POI to add to the Artist's story on TD
+Updated: Inland water is now different levels of dirty, with some being pristine, and some being disgusting.
+Added new POI: The Elder Tree, Biggest Fir tree on the map
+Upped the Scale of the Snowberries, lessened their toxicity, and removed some variations (meaning there's less of them in a clump, and therefore you will eat less of them at one given time)
+Made New Redwood Trees 01 & 02
+Added Redwoods Biome to Temporal Drift
+Added Glacier flow around survival shrine
+Fixed: Exterior Freshwater sources not refilling when it snows

+Gave Broken Eggs, Carcasses, and Carcass chunks a snow response so that the snow should indent when they are dropped in it (also works with Titania's interactive mud/sand)
+Changed: TemporalIcicles now give water and water satiation to aid in land exploration
+Added: Golden Rod Flowers as the new comfort foliage

Hot Springs

+Hot Springs have been added to Temporal Drift. Additionally, when a player is in one of these hot springs, they are now immune to the comfort drop associated with bad weather. Tornados and lightning are still threats, however. There is a new "In a Hot Spring" status condition that shows the player they have received this effect.
+The water in hot springs is by default disgusting and gives no water satiation.

Quality of Life Changes

+All talents have been reset for this patch
+Reincarnation now gives the player an option to change the reincarnated creature's gender
+There is no longer a clamp on how dark a color value can be. True black (0x000000 hex code) can now be used.
+While backing up, Apato and Bronto now show a status icon that indicates that you are backing up.
+Temporal Drift now spawns charcoal stumps instead of sticks, which are easier to see amidst the snow.
+Players can now add or subtract talents by using the Save Select screen's talent viewer
+Added Comfort, Talents, Eggs and Hatchlings, Navigation, Grouping, World Events, and Incest topics in the Help Menu

+Added ambient sound recordings taken from the Peruvian rainforest to Isla Titania and Rival Shores

+Rival Shores has also been updated to include these sounds in a few biomes:

Mechanics Changes

+Mechanics: Stamina no longer regenerates while in a freefall unless you are a Velociraptor, Changyuraptor, or Frog
+Mechanics: Chinlea's food value now decreases more at larger growth sizes than previously
+Mechanics: When entering the water while in flight, you now immediately enter a swimming state unless you are holding sprint
+Mechanics: Skin save files from before the addition of encryption will no longer load. This was the solution we arrived at to avoid tampering of skin save files and to remove all skin save files that are illegitimate and have been tampered with.

+Balance: Pteranodon now has Improved Dart as a talent in the previously unoccupied talent tree location 3.1

Tropeognathus

+Balance: Tropeo's Wing Beat no longer costs more Ability or Stamina when used on the ground
+Balance: The talent Swift Wings no longer reduces the cooldown on Wing Beat

Bug Fixes

+Fixed: Players losing saved characters after reincarnating or shortly after dying when the server restarted or crashed. This was a rare bug that had to happen exactly as the server was at a very specific part of the saving process, but occurred more often on servers with larger save files and more data.
+Fixed: Krono now keeps its lunge HUD when lunging out of the water, and can now correctly hit players when it lunges out of the water
+Fixed: Your target no longer disappears if it wanders too far away from the starting location when you are using the observer camera to follow another player's movement (2 button)
+Fixed: Areas on Temporal Drift with audio cue volumes now show player footstep paths in the snow
+Fixed: Utahraptor's feet now stay on the ground when it crouches
+Fixed: Players no longer get disconnected from the server when trying to eat or pick up plants that are very densely clumped, or when eating with a very large eat hitbox
+Fixed: Utah and Velo's feathers now look decent at low texture quality graphics settings
+Fixed: Killing Malawania in a World Event no longer causes intermittent or buggy World Event buff behaviors, or causes players to lose World Event buffs
+Fixed: Players who die in Deaths Blessing world events should no longer occasionally be marked dead
+Fixed: After a server restarts, eggs should now remain in a player's group
