After taking a short break to recover from Episode 5's release, we're back to work! Given our current stage of production, these updates are probably going to be on the shorter end, BUT, here's what we've been up to:
- We've mapped out the scene list and flow charts for the remaining two chapters of the game! While all of the major story beats and revelations for Scarlet Hollow were planned from the start, this is the first time we've finally put the minor pieces together.
- We've officially started writing Episode 6.
- Parallel to writing Episode 6, we've begun work on the church expansion to Episode 5.
- We've started pulling player choice data from our Episode 5 survey to put into a devlog! If you haven't had the chance to fill out the survey, you can do so here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/62895DH. We were so happy to see that Episode 5 is neck and neck with Episode 3 for people's favorite episode to date!
A small taste of survey data. Stella remains the most popular love interest in the game, but both Kaneeka and Wayne are gaining on her... and fast!
What to expect next:
- We'll be looking to catch up on fixing outstanding bug reports for Episode 5 next week!
- After that, our next goal will be finishing an expansion/touch up patch for currently released episodes. On the docket are adding an option to visit the church in episode 5, finally implementing the alternate ending to the clinic in episode 4, some expansions to the intro to the farms in 5, and an assortment of balance changes, mostly focused on improving the feel of Powerful Build and Keen Eye.

Crazy to think that the finish line is finally visible on the horizon. Excited to share the final chapters with you when they're ready!
