Greetings dinosaur hunters!

Work is progressing on several features and additions that will shape both near-term updates and longer-term development of Prehistoric Hunt. In this blog, we’re taking a look at vehicles and a set of new species planned for the new map.

Thanks again everyone for your continued support!

Vehicles

Work is ongoing on vehicles, which are being developed to improve long-distance traversal.

The current direction is to allow players to call in vehicles when needed, rather than having them always available. At the same time, they are being balanced to ensure they don’t remove the core hunting experience.

Vehicles will not be risk-free - large predators will be able to damage them, making positioning and awareness still important when using them.

New Trophy Hall

We are working on a new trophy hall for the lodge.

This new space will be 3 times bigger than the current largest room you can add to your lodge. It can even fit a full-size Brachiosaurus.

New species

We are also working on several new species that will make their first appearance on the new map.

Diplodocus

Diplodocus is nearing completion.

Dilophosaurus

Dilophosaurus is close to being ready for release.

Oryctodromeus

Work is also in progress on Oryctodromeus. It’s a smaller dinosaur capable of burrowing.

Thank you for reading and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
