Greetings, Fountain Seekers!
Haven’t forgotten the news, have you? Good — because we definitely haven’t slowed down.
We’re deep into building a multiplayer mode where you can survive together. Systems are being reworked, balance is getting hammered into shape, and a lot of rough edges are still being sanded down… but here’s the important part: we already have a playable build.
And yes — a playtest is coming. Soon.
And if you’re curious how all of this is coming together — good news: we’re kicking off a series of more devblogs, where we’ll go deeper into the systems, design decisions, and all the chaos behind the scenes.
Stay tuned. Things are about to get interesting. 👀

Stealth was an option. Was.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Plenty of things are already there:
Coop essentials: hosting a P2P server, joining, synchronizing up to 4 players
Shared world interactions: sharing resources, gathering, dropping stuff, building
Main processes synchronization (sleeping, energy consumption, crafting, etc.)

Is it a bit chaotic right now? Yes. Will it remain chaotic in the future? Also yes.
Multiplayer is complicated. Turns out, making one player survive is hard.
Making multiple players survive together? Even harder. Who knew.

Building is hard, but have you tried supervising?..
PLAYTEST
Great news for those of you who'd like to try the new multiplayer mode as soon as possible: we’re getting ready to open multiplayer playtests on Steam in a few months.
Be ready: things might still be a bit clumsy, but you'll have to break them with friends. And more importantly, you’ll help us make multiplayer actually good.
To participate in the playtest, press Request Access on the game page — we’ll start granting it once the playtest is ready.

Please feel free to check our Discord community for the upcoming news on the playtest (as well as potential companions)!

What did he do in those bushes?.. Some questions better remain unanswered.
Thanks for sticking with us — and for repeatedly asking about multiplayer until we had no choice but to make it! 😄
Stay tuned for the following blog post to learn more about how energy, crafting, and sleeping will work in multiplayer!
