Hello, there's a new patch in the publicbeta branch. It has a few small fixes for mods and translations, but the main change is that the Russian translation has been greatly improved by Pavel Borisov, who also did the Cyrillic fonts - many thanks for that! Here's the change list:
Fix for Carter Moreno shooting you if you wait for 1 minute before replying in the Vanished quest
Fix for error loading DLL for RV mod
Fix for mods with multiple DLLs failing to load the remaining ones if one of them fails (SIS Extended: Standalone)
Fix for crash when using the editor with SIS Pick Berries
Fix for possessive form of names sometimes inserting a character in the wrong place in Russian and Ukrainian
Fix for formulas not working in translations for some hint messages
Russian translation overhauled and massively improved
Updated Brazilian Portuguese, French, Japanese, Latin American Spanish and European Spanish translations
I won't push the previous patch onto the main branch (or XBox) just yet as it hasn't been in beta testing for very long, so this is just a publicbeta update today.
What's this publicbeta thing?
v275 will be in the "publicbeta" branch on Steam for a while, before pushing it to the main game and to XBox. If you want to try the latest features as they come out (and help test them!) it's a good idea to start using this branch. But keep in mind:
Because it's the bleeding edge it could be less stable
If you want to be able to play online co-op with someone you'll need to be on the same version as them
If you go back from the "publicbeta" branch to the main branch you may not be able to load savegames created on "publicbeta".
To use publicbeta, just right-click on Survivalist: Invisible Strain in your Steam library and go to Properties, then Betas and in the drop-down select "publicbeta".
