Hey Jotunnslayers!

This devblog is dedicated to what’s coming next - and it’s a big one.

Together with our friends from Heroic Signatures, we’ve forged a brutal crossover where two savage worlds collide.

Conan the Barbarian is entering Hel, bringing a new map, a new god, a new playable class, and a deadly new boss - alongside the long-awaited Local Co-op update.

Let’s descend into the details.

The Legendary Conan the Barbarian enters Hel

Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandalled feet.

Conan brings a combat style built around momentum, aggression, and battlefield dominance. His core mechanic - Triumph - rewards active combat and elite hunting.

Core traits

Triumph - defeating enemies can grant Triumph stacks, each blocking one instance of incoming damage

Born in Battle - elevated critical hit chance and critical damage from the start

Ram Dash - a forward charge that damages enemies along its path

Conan Subclasses - Three paths of Legend

Each subclass reshapes how Triumph behaves and how Conan controls the battlefield.

King of Aquilonia

A heavy greatsword ruler focused on devastating cleaves and elite execution. Fewer Triumph interactions - more raw power and longer, more punishing dashes.

Slow, but hard-hitting greatsword at hand dealing damage at the end of Dash.

Stygian Gladiator Sword-and-shield pitfighter built for control and durability. Higher Triumph capacity, stun potential, and defensive scaling per stack.

Master of arms that prefers sword-and-board with an extra stunning Shield Attack.

Zamorian Rogue A fast dual-wielding raider who converts Triumph into mobility and evasion. Lower stack limits, but each stack fuels dash charges and survivability through movement.

Dual-wielding ruffian that trades damage blocking of Triumph for higher attack speed.

New Map - Stygia

Far beyond the cold northern realms lies Stygia - a scorched desert of ancient ruins, forgotten monarchs, and cursed tombs buried beneath endless dunes.

This new battlefield introduces:

Stygia is less about comfort and more about survival under pressure - every run should feel tense, dangerous, and unpredictable.

New God - Fate

Not every god grants steady blessings. Some prefer to play with your life.

Fate introduces a risk-and-reward blessing system built around symbolic draws and scaling outcomes. Each time you invest, you generate symbols that determine which tier of reward you can claim - from modest boosts to run-defining power spikes.

Possible outcomes include:

But Fate is not generous by default - weak rolls are possible, and greedy plays can backfire. This god is for players who enjoy pushing their luck and adapting on the fly.

New Boss - Undead Jotunn

An ancient Stygian wizard-king preserved through forbidden necromancy rises from beneath the sands.

Expect illusion mechanics, layered attack patterns, and deceptive battlefield control.

This is not a brute-force boss - awareness and positioning matter.

Local Co-op - Free update for all players

Alongside the DLC, Local Co-op launches as a FREE UPDATE.

It’s a different tactical experience - more coordination, more combo potential, more battlefield moments.

Key features:

NOTE: When playing Local Co-Op, all achievements are saved only for the host player.

Release date and price

The Conan DLC, along with Local Co-op, launches on April 9 for €5.49 with a 10% launch discount, and €6.99 on consoles.
