This update addresses several bugs and adds new items.
We've been asked to slow down and do a bug focused update for awhile, and that's what this update was! We're continuing to work on new content for Tower, and will be preparing for our upcoming Anniversary events now that we've got more caught up with bug fixes. We have additional upcoming bug fixes requested by our community in the bug round up thread.
Changes & Additions
Q1 2026 Plaza Update
Plaza: Art passed the railings that run along the path directly behind the tower. They now look much better and also have better scaling (they are larger now)
Condo Hub: Interaction is now disabled on 18+ Condo Hub doors when "Display Mature Content Condos" is disabled
Virus: Enraged infected no longer occurs in Horde mode
Virus: Horde mode now payouts even if you lose, but you get a 70% reduction of payouts. Before you would not get any payouts on lose
Emote camera offset no longer applies while in a seat

Item Changes
Some items have received visual improvements, new functionality, and QoL changes.
Updated the Bedside Table Lamp's materials, reordered the colour layers to match other light items, added option for a thinner base, and renamed to Bedside Lamp Table
Updated the handrails of the Modular Catwalk Stairs to not clip by default, with a new option that reaches the height of connecting Modular Catwalks
Updated the Poolcue Rack item's materials and added variants
Updated the Gramophone item, art passing the item and adding audio stream functionality
Renamed Barrel and Barrel (Physics) to Wooden Barrel and Wooden Barrel (Physics)
Renamed Pallet and Wooden Palette to Wooden Pallet and Wooden Pallet (Trashed)
Renamed ALL Large Fish to organise them with their smaller counterparts. This will affect the Collection Book and inventory organisation; “Large Fish” to “Fish (Large)”
Renamed “Boardwalk Rail” to “Art Deco Handrail”, since it hasn’t been used
Changed texture on the Upper Cabinet items to not look as obviously repetitive
Unredeemable Catsack no longer appears as the default for Accessory pedestal items
Tagged Throwable Blood Wine as Food
Party Light and Retro Disco Ball items are now tagged as Lights
Body Pillow item now supports Canvas Surface Materials
Added colouring to the Potted Carnivorous Plant's pot
Optimizations
Plaza: Overhauled the geometry of the railings that run along the path directly behind the tower to render much more efficiently. Less draw calls and occlusion queries
Plaza: Merged meshes together where it made sense in the tower lobby to reduce drawcalls and occlusion queries for optimization
Plaza: Overhauled the geometry and improved LODs for the Casino exterior to reduce occlusion queries and drawcalls
Plaza: Overhauled the geometry for much of the rockwork in the gamepad side of the plaza island to improve rendering performance
Plaza: Cut the amount of triangles in one of the flower meshes used at the nature store by 1/3 of its original value without losing noticeable visual quality, and improved the way they are rendered to reduce occlusion quarries and drawcalls
Plaza: Improved LODs for the greenhouse structure at the nature store, and also merged in its interior woodwork for better rendering
Plaza: Improved LODs for the upper side of the Casino Entryway
Plaza: Merged all of the decorative vases in the cat cafe into their wall mesh
Bug Fixes
Fixed the moon in the sky not occluding stars
Fixed the ocean having several glitched reflections appearing in the distance
Fixed Workshop player models being undersized on Vehicles
Game World Bug Fixes
SDNL: Fixed Gun Game giving you two toy hammers on the last weapon tier
SDNL: Fixed dinos being able to deal damage while dead
SDNL/Virus/Plaza: Fixed crossbow bolt sometimes not appearing for clients
SDNL: Fixed raptors not gibbing properly or being sliced in half (would just spawn two dinosaur ragdolls)
SDNL: Fixed magnum laser sometimes targeting already dead players
SDNL: Fixed winning team announcement announcing the wrong team often
SDNL: Fixed gun fire sound not playing in gun game when a player just upgrades their gun
SDNL: Dinosaur no longer turns into an human skeleton in lava
SDNL: Improved issues where players sometimes not spawning in or spawning in as default model (less common of an issue)
SDNL: Fixed gun game not always giving you a weapon
Virus: Fixed infected eye effects being offset
Virus: Fixed weapons sometimes not being given to players
Virus: Fixed respawn issues
Virus: Added a collider near the tents in Catzek to prevent a rare case of trapping Infected via the Sonic Shotgun
Ball Race: Fixed material regression on the bumpers in Prism
Condo Bug Fixes
Interaction trace is no longer offset for clients when sitting
Disabled Sprays while on an instrument
Fixed dithering on Canvas Surfaces with masked opacity
Corrected initial brightness and attenuation values on MANY light items, preventing an inconsistency when reloading the Condo (if the values hadn't been adjusted)
Fixed many light items not supporting shadows. They will also default to no shadows now (this will apply to older saves as well to retain the same visuals)
Resort Condo: Fixed collision issues with the Dev HQ's office ceilings
Resort Condo: Fixed material regression on the kitchenette's ceiling
Condo: Removed a collider to the left of the glass door in the Default Condo
Underwater Condo: Fixed material regression on the elevator towers of the Underwater Condo
Fixed the False Wall (Default Condo) and Pool Cover (Courtyard Villa) overriding savedata on reload
Item Bug Fixes
Physics Slot's base disables collision when made invisible
Fixed collision issues with the Throwing Knife, Throwable Cleaver, Throwable Pitchfork, and Death's Scythe projectiles
Fixed player models on RC Sleigh not initializing properly
Disabled backface culling on Candy Bucket Hat, fixing visual issues
Fixed Large Sunfish from appearing in the incorrect fish collection page
Fixed an LOD issue with the Hula Doll item
Fixed the default Range value of audio stream items (Potted Carnivorous Plant) being mismatched from the initial size, causing it to be 0 on reload if untouched
Fixed Accessory pedestal items creating a ghost item upon loading save data
Fixed people sitting on the Physics Pool Tube item not being affected by Volumes
Fixed Accessory pedestal items leaving behind an item Presence when canceling a Copycat duplication
Prevented an edge-case where you could sit in Pool Tube (Physics) while holding it

Restored Rotation property to Rental Shelf items after resolving the bugs it caused

Fixed a bug that caused underwater effects to play in the cave behind the roller coaster
Fixed a broken material on the stairs leading into the Dark Voyage ride
Fixed small visual error on the Cat Cafe's ottoman texture
