We are happy to announce the Closed Beta for Tropico 7, inviting a limited number of selected players to help shape, build, and politely endorse the future of El Presidente’s newest regime ahead of its planned 2026 release. [p align="justify"]The Closed Beta begins on March 31, 2026, on Steam and Xbox PC for two weeks. The playtest focuses on gathering feedback on core gameplay systems, political mechanics, and two selected campaign parts from the Colonial Times and World Wars and two scenario missions in the Cold War and Modern Times. The Closed Beta supports English and German text. My country isn't listed on the signup page. What should I do?
If your country is not represented, please pick the closest one to your homecountry.
When will I receive information on if I have been selected?
We will start sending invite mails out soon after the signup deadline (March 22nd). We will post in our news channels once we have started sending invites out!
Do I have to do anything to get access to the Beta section?
We will be adding the people that are selected to a hidden section on this server, once the selection mails have been sent out.
I haven't received a confirmation mail for signing up. Is this a mistake?
There are no confirmation mails for signing up. A message will be displayed on the bottom of the signup page confirming the signup.
Is there an NDA?
Yes there will be an NDA for the people selected. Sharing anything about the contents of the Beta will be prohibited.
How long will the Beta be live for?
The Beta will run for 2 weeks starting from March 31st.
