This update focuses on breaking the world's passivity. Now, every closed door is a mystery that demands caution: what you find inside could be your fortune or your end. We’ve introduced mechanics that deepen immersion and force the player to manage risks, resources, and their very survival in an environment where no one likes to be disturbed.
GAMEPLAY
High-Risk Invasions and Reactive Interiors: The silence of residences is now a warning. Upon entering interiors, you will find more than just walls; you’ll encounter residents and criminals ready to protect their territory at any cost. Be prepared: home invasions can now result in immediate armed confrontations, where NPC reactions are relentless.
Loot System: Scavenging house interiors now has a new layer. Cabinets and rooms hide vital items, from basic supplies like food and drinks to medicine and high-value objects.
Inventory System: By accessing the new Inventory (B key), you can manage your finds, use healing items, or check your looted objects.
Black Market: What you "acquire" in the shadows now has a clear destination. New fences and dealers operate at strategic points on the map. In these illegal shops, stolen valuables can be converted into cash, fueling your financial rise in the underworld.
Improved Canine AI: Sumariti's dogs now possess territorial awareness. They patrol yards and interiors with an active role: detecting intruders, alerting residents, and attacking if necessary. On the streets, Nicolau’s commotion when passing by on a motorcycle or bicycle will not go unnoticed by more aggressive dogs, which now chase anyone who enters their field of vision.
FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
We have eliminated the pop-in effect that occurred when rotating the camera quickly. The entity culling system has been recalibrated so that objects and pedestrians behind the player are rendered instantly upon returning to the field of vision.
AI adjustments so that dogs and armed residents act together during invasions, creating more organic and challenging combat situations.
