Wanted to thank everyone who picked up 24 Killers in 2025. I hope it's been a nice sabbatical for you. Maybe sabbath, or shabbat games (meaning rest) is a good new genre name for it.
We had some very successful seasonal sales this year, and still seeing people come into our Discord almost 3 years after the launch to share how special 24K has been to them means the world to me.
We're only 126 reviews away from receiving the Overwhelmingly Positive status on Steam. Reaching that goal will help our visibility and future endeavors (there is one in progress right now!). Leaving a review is that extra step you can take if 24K has brought you some enjoyment and rest from the torpor of the void.
On a personal note - I started my 2026 resolution a few weeks early by cutting out distractions. I locked down my PC for gamedev on weekdays with a blocker app. I can access music and gamedev related apps and sites and that's about it. A lot of people can self-regulate with media, but I'm not one of them! I don't want another year of going through the motions and living an unexamined life. I've got a limited time to tell all the happy shabby stories I can.
