Here we are, almost a year since Frosty Faustings 2025 where we celebrated the very first public hands-on event for VF5 R.E.V.O. Looking back, it’s been an incredible year for us, both busy and challenging yet SO rewarding. Our mission was simple: breathe new life into the Virtua Fighter franchise, and thanks to your support, we’ve made huge strides both in the game and in building the community.
We’re thrilled to have delivered features many of you have been asking for since the VF5US days: rollback netcode, full cross-play, new single-player content, and new costumes. The encouraging messages we’ve received from you mean the world to our team. Seriously, thank you for sticking with us and cheering us on. Just last month, the final qualifier for the Virtua Fighter Open Championship, wrapped up at Thaiger Uppercut 2025. Huge congratulations to Leolao for earning the last spot in the Global Finals! To everyone who competed: thank you for your passion and dedication. Experiencing the energy of the VF community in Thailand was unforgettable.
To top it all off, we got some amazing year-end news: Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage was nominated for Best Fighting Game at The Game Awards 2025! This honor is all thanks to you; the community that keeps VF alive. We couldn’t be more grateful.
