Sadly, the Bazaar isn’t ready just yet, but instead we’re releasing a huge update packed with many of the changes we made while developing it. This update brings a ton of new features, improvements, and fixes.
Crafting Improvements
Manual crafting is now much less tedious. Crafting stations that require player stay at the station, including furniture crafting, now speed up the in-game time scale. This makes crafting significantly faster, especially when using the Drawing Board.
Police & Crazy Neighbor Updates
We’ve expanded gameplay for both the police and the crazy neighbor:
Police can now chase the player across scenes, including interiors.
However, they will no longer chase you for carrying just a few stolen items, but be careful if you’re holding a lot. You might start to look very suspicious.
You can now spend some quality time with the crazy neighbor and if you neglect him for too long, he may try to find you instead.
After a few visits, he will allow you to upgrade his apartment.
He now has a weekly schedule, including activities like walking the streets or visiting the Speakeasy.
Difficulty Options
A new Casual difficulty has been added, featuring:
Less grinding
Slower need decay
Daily and higher rent income
We’ve also expanded the difficulty settings with more customization options.
Gambling addiction
There’s now a gambling addiction system that you can acquire either by choosing a random addiction at the start or by gambling frequently. You can satisfy it by buying scratchcards from O-Market or by playing the slot machine (Double Pot), but only if you win.
New Items
There are around 100 new items added to the game! For example:
Plastic bags can now be purchased from O-Market, making it easier to carry items to your tenement
Scratchcards to satisfy your gambling addiction
A hard hat with a headlamp, making mining much easier in dark areas
And if you’re lucky, you might even find a pig or a glowing cat somewhere

We’ve added 6 new growable plants:

Blackcurrant bush
Tobacco plant
Yucca plant
Clean green mushrooms
Performance & Optimization
We’ve made several optimizations. Most notably, the UI should no longer drain your FPS, even when you own a large amount of furniture and other items.

Fixed quality being overwritten when moving liquids between canisters (issue #3721)
Crafting and skills
Skill gain calculation now accounts for time spent on crafting
Furniture crafting now increases skill
Recipes are moved to the top of the list and marked red when any required ingredient is in the crafting station (issue #2942)
Crafting stations that require the player now speed up the in-game time scale, so crafting takes about 10 seconds in real time (issue #4121)

High tier saunas, mushroom cave, staircase and greenhouse now needs tiles.
