This update brings a couple of features many of you have been asking for, including support for custom music stations and automatic save transfers from the 2021 version. We hope these changes make your time in the kitchen more personal and more seamless, whether you’re cooking to your favorite playlist or jumping back into the game with your previous progress intact. 🎵 Custom Music Stations Are Now Supported! You can now play your own music through the in-game radio. There are two ways to set it up:
Use the Show button in the Settings Menu under General → Radio to open the custom music folder, then simply drop your MP3 files there.
Edit the file CookingSimulatorVR\\ExternalMusicConfig.txt, which is created in your Documents folder after launching the game. You can add multiple MP3 folders, and each folder will be treated as a separate radio station.
💾 Automatic Save Transfer from the Legacy Version
The latest update automatically transfers save files from the legacy version of the game. If any saves are detected, you’ll see a notification in-game. Transferred progress can be found in Load Game under the name LegacySaveXX.
