Why hasn't the final update been released yet?
Has this game been abandoned? No, never no.
I'm working on many new features and improvements, such as
1. A more efficient input method 2. Showcase your solutions 3. Custom themes 4. A simpler UI 5. Performance optimizations 6. More levels
...
But these are a bit complicated. I'm not sure how to implement them. So I've temporarily shifted my focus to other games and will return to this one once the relevant features are mature. Meta Lines 2 is a different kind of puzzle game in the series, inheriting the gameplay from the previous game. You simply connect all the same checkpoints.
Compared to the previous game, the second game has some differences:
