Hey everyone, this is just a quick post outlining some of the stuff coming for the next major update and I will look to post more information about this as it progresses further.
What is coming?
Infection system - Zombies in different ways can now infect the player with an infection. Will you be able to find the cure, find the medicine to hold it off or succumb to the infection. It should also be stated that this is a system that can be turned off if you don't want it in your playthrough.
Remade and way more fun bunkers - Bunkers have a complete new design and structure to them. All will be unique and expand on lore for the game.
Expanded subway and sewer system - Some of the locations of these underground areas are way too small. These are going to be expanded and you can expect to see random events down there also.
New POIs - You can expect to see new POIs including a lodge located near the river.
And more... From item additions, to other pieces of content, quality of life changes and many bug fixes already implemented and more to add/fix!
What may be coming?
Nuclear power plant POI - Work is still ongoing on the plant and I hope to have it in player's hands soon.
Backend animations system/armature - The armature of the player has been changed completely and all animations are getting converted, new animations made and to be implemented. From actual bolt action animations, new melee animations, and more!
Afterwards. . .
As said many time before, I will begin to move onto fleshing out, adding and improving the quest system!
