Update 0.8.3 contains the changes below. Aside from several dozen bug fixes and tweaks, these are the most note-worthy changes.
Gameplay Updates
- Added "Crazy Tony", an interactible NPC next to Freehaven with 3 brand new missions! He can be found on top of the gas station outside Freehaven.
- Added additional missions to ship players between Lea and Luke
- Added a new NPC with 3 missions in Freehaven
- Added a smelting and mining robot that players can build and use to mine ores and smelt metals
- Added a whole new set of metal building blocks!
Noteworthy Level Changes
- Two out of the three main safezones in the Wasteland now have NPCs and missions.
- There is a chain of missions that guide you to Fort Horizon as well as Dustspire in the Wasteland
- Dustspire is now inhabited by the Scrapping guild, along with their Robot helpers
- Added a garbage station to the level in the Wasteland
New Features
- Added a travel mechanic with Otis' Copter Network! Flight Points are now useable to make traveling large distances not quite as boring
Bug Fixes
- Repaired broken music slider in settings
- Fixed broken collision on scaffolding
- Fixed bugs regarding respawning of gaterable trees
