🆕 NEW FEATURE: IP MARKETPLACE
Building your own franchise is thrilling, but now, you can take it a step further! With the IP Marketplace, you can acquire the rights to iconic (spoofed) novels, TV shows, video games, and more—transforming them into blockbuster movie franchises.
- Discover 700+ spoofed IPs inspired by renowned cultural franchises.
- Explore 6 different media sources: Cartoons, Graphic Novels, Manga/Anime, Novels, TV Shows, and Video Games.
- Invest in powerful new IPs – with a catch! The most valuable IPs come with tough conditions. Fail three times, and you lose the IP.
🐞 BUG FIXES
- Movies Stuck in 'Wait for Release': Last week, we fixed an issue where distribution postponements could prevent you from completing movies or cause them to disappear. However some players still had corrupted movies in their save from before the previous patch. This update repairs affected save files, allowing you to resume distribution.
- Achievement Unlock Fix: Some players experienced issues unlocking achievements due to a sync problem between save files and the Steam achievement system. Now, every time you load a game, we’ll automatically check and sync your achievements to ensure nothing is missed.
- Home Entertainment Deal List UI: The UI displaying available deals was truncated—this has been fixed for better clarity.
- Video Game Theme Affinities: Fixed an issue where genre-theme affinities were not working correctly for the Video Game theme.
- Financials Date Fix: No more starting your financial records in 1969 while the journey begins in 1970.
🔧 QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS
- Slimmer Task UI to reduce scrolling when you have multiple movie productions at once.
- Clearer feedback on franchise movie size restrictions in pre-production.
