Watch CPU games:
With this update, you can finally watch CPU vs CPU games. This includes any games during the regular season before playing your own, or during the playoffs & CCGs when you want to watch the big matchups at the end of the year. While watching the game, you can progress each play one by one, or turn on 'auto-sim' to watch plays progress automatically. This has been long requested, and adds a ton of immersion and flavor when following teams beyond your own. See the new "Watch game" button in the top right of the Game Preview page. Enjoy the show!
Setting preferred winners using God Mode:
Another requested feature is the ability to force a winner for games, which is now enabled if you have God Mode turned on (via Game Settings page). If enabled, you'll now see a small button in the top right of the Game Preview page, which allows you to set the preferred winner. This can be done for CPU games or your own; the only caveat being that you cannot play/watch games with this set, just sim them. The sim engine will replay the game 25 times until the preferred winner prevails, and then 25 times again with boosted attributes if those initial attempts failed.
Player stat leaderboards:
I've also added a new 'Stat Leaderboards' page, which is accessible from the 'League News' page or in the 'Stats' section. This page has the top 10 players for all kinds of stats, from pass yards to rushing yards per attempt to tackles and more, divided into 5 sections for easy viewing. These leaderboards are for the current year, but you can even view them for past years or for full player careers. Be warned that the 'Career' query can take a while to load, as it's grabbing all players with all their stats from all time, but is cached for quick refresh. I've loved this new addition, hope you will too!
New postseason options:
There are several new postseason options, which allow more customization and are especially helpful for location-specific custom universes (like state high school ones). In the 'Game Settings' page there is a new button at the top to "Change postseason locations". This lets you set which neutral sites are used for playoff games, as well as setting whether each conference's CCG is played at a neutral site (the conference HQ) or the higher seeded team's home stadium.
There are also new league settings related to the postseason. The first is an option to enable on-campus playoff games, which by default is for the first round only but can now be set to be through the quarterfinals, semifinals, or all the way through the playoffs. There is also an option to change how CCG participants are selected, so you can change them to always be the two highest ranked teams instead of the division winners.

Minor improvements:
- Improve draft logic for top 5 picks, QBs now much more likely to go #1 overall
- Improve playing time calculation for QBs, now will rate higher if they see themselves as immediate starter, or if better than existing young players
- Add 16 team playoff with 10 conference champs tie-in
- Improve player generation on new saves to be more realistic when it comes to home state; for example Texas will have more players from Texas, and walk-ons will always come from home state now
- Change height/weight generation to make higher star players slightly taller, alter height for certain archetypes, reduce standard deviation for heights slightly
- Add CCG/NCG game to year summary banner
- Clicking year in league history should now redirects to postseason games page
- Improve UI in other areas, including new playoff bracket
Bug fixes:
- Prevent CPU punting from opponent 25
- Balance goal line defense plays, penalize usage outside of goal line and increase boom/bust potential
- Fix issue where avatar setting would persist when starting new game
