This crossover event, titled Messages from the Shadow, will be a large-scale, reality-intrusive mystery puzzle chapter that spans history, games, and the real world. As a historical detective game, Messages from the Shadow also brings a mysterious case based on real historical events. It takes place in 1910, in the Far East's financial hub—Shanghai. In this turbulent era, a storm that will change the course of Chinese history is about to hit the banks of the Huangpu River.

The crossover event is scheduled to go live on January 26, Beijing time. However, we regret to inform you that some of the puzzles are designed in a way that may require a certain level of understanding of Chinese to complete, and some clues are hidden in Simplified Chinese social media platforms such as Weibo and Bilibili. Accessing these social websites may be difficult for users outside of mainland China.
