I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates and improvements we’ve made recently. These changes are designed to enhance your gameplay experience and add new depth to the world of Train World. Let’s dive into what’s new!
🌍New Content:
- Silverstream Bay Map: Explore this charming new map featuring a central shipping lane, picturesque mountain ranges, and a flowing river.
🛠️Gameplay Enhancements:
- Wagons Panel: Easily view available cargo types and compatible wagons with the new Wagons panel, accessible next to the "Help" button.
- Prestige Mechanic: Keep track of your Prestige, which grows through activities like purchasing trains, unlocking regions, and more. Prestige decay ensures active gameplay, adding a new layer of strategy.
🎯 Map Targets and Achievements:
- Complete map targets with achievements to "win" the map and earn stars based on the difficulty level.
🌅 Visual & UI Improvements:
- Dynamic Daylight: Enjoy beautiful daylight color changes based on the sun’s angle.
- Enhanced Minimap: Navigate with ease thanks to color-coded rails, optimized icon sizes, and new icons for village production.
⚖️ Balancing Adjustments:
- Loans & Region Prices: I’ve fine-tuned loan rates and region prices, with adjustments based on the number of regions you have unlocked.
🐞 Bug Fixes:
- I’ve squashed several bugs, including terrain holes, UI layout issues, and tooltip glitches. Plus, improvements to signal placement and locomotive replacement ensure smoother gameplay.
⚙️ Engine Update:
- I’ve upgraded to Unity 6 LTS for better performance and to prepare for future enhancements.
