Brand New Inventory System:
The new inventory system will feature a distinction between key items, which will never be removed, and consumable items, which will be used up during the game—whether by crafting them into other things or using them to unlock doors. Additionally, the inventory system includes a highlight feature and item descriptions!
Brand New Character Controller
The new character controller features FOV-based movement, sway, and animations to make it feel more lifelike, enhancing the overall immersive and weighted experience, as if you were moving in real life. Feedback will be used to fine-tune the feel in the future!
New Phone Message System
The new phone and message system allows greater control over which messages appear on screen, how they are displayed, and how they can be navigated. It offers more precise timings, customizable colors, and enhanced interaction, compared to the previous system, which was merely textures on a 3D model. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
New Interactions
The brand-new interaction system will allow objects to be highlighted and enable the creation of more interactive elements in the game. While some objects might not be collectible, additional information may be provided upon clicking or selecting them.
