Patch 1.3 – The Ultimate Update — No Time to Relax News

It’s been quite a while since our last major update—three whole years, in fact! We’re excited to bring you what we’re calling The Ultimate Update. This release is not only packed with new features and bug fixes but will also serve as the final major update for No Time to Relax.

You can find the full list of features below, which includes fixes for longstanding issues and a groundbreaking innovation we’re pretty sure no other game has done to date: hats!

To celebrate The Ultimate Update, the game will also be on sale on Steam for a whopping 80% off—grab it while you can! It’s the perfect time to introduce new friends to the game so you can laugh at them for buying groceries without a fridge.

It’s been an incredible journey since we released the game in 2019, and we’ve loved watching our community laugh and rage in equal measure. We’ll now be shifting our focus to our newest game, Walk of Life, and we hope to see you there when it hits Steam Early Access next summer!

New features

Game now includes Hats! Usefulness is debatable.
Added Thai localization.
Updated Latin American Spanish localization.
Fixed missing text for Japanese.
Made text more readable for handheld screens in various places.
Updated the graphics of various items to look better.
Changed the board game graphics to be more awesome.
Updated the graphics of a few apartment furniture items.
Clicking the Record player now changes music tracks.
Updated the Icelandic Skin.
TVs now surf more channels.
Look to the skies! Characters now rain down in the Menu.
Updated graphics for in-game menu button.
Tutorial has been simplified and can be more easily dismissed.

Bug Fixes

Fixed bug where in a online game if a player bought the First Player item in Competitive mode and then dropped out of the session the game would hang at the start of next round.
Fixed a bug that could cause the game to crash if joining a multiplayer game took unexpectedly long.
Fixed a bug that caused the game to hang if trying to rejoin an online game at the same time as another player left it.
Fixed a race condition in online where the game tried to load visual data when receiving ready signal from host but hadn't loaded them yet.
Fixed a mysterious bug with the Pet UI
Fixed a bug in online multiplayer where the score screen might freeze if another player quit the game just as the score screen was loading.
