Status effects

Six afflictions that build up over hits, then trigger a burst of damage or a debuff. Below: how each works, and the weapons that inflict it.

Blood Loss

Blood Loss builds up through weapons or buffs with innate bleed/hemorrhage buildup, including Blood-infused weapons, Bloodflame Blade, and multi-hit attacks like dual-wielded twinblade jump attacks. When triggered, it deals burst damage: 100 or 200 flat damage depending on the enemy, plus a percentage of max HP, with lower percentage damage against bosses.

Scarlet Rot

Scarlet Rot is shown as a dangerous environmental hazard in pools and as a status that some tools or attacks can apply to enemies. These excerpts do not specify its exact triggered effect.

Frostbite

Frostbite can be applied through Cold Ashes of War and certain frostbite-causing attacks or projectiles. Like Blood Loss, it deals percentage HP damage when triggered, and it also leaves the victim’s defense weakened afterward.

Poison

Poison is described as a status countered by poison resistance, Flame Cleanse Me, neutralizing boluses, and other remedies. When active, it functions as poison DOT—damage over time.

Sleep

Sleep is mentioned as one of the least common status effects, but these excerpts do not describe its buildup or triggered effect.

Madness
