Leveling & scaling

The real numbers behind every build, read straight from the game's data files (regulation v1.14) — so the soft caps here are exactly what the game uses, not estimates.

Damage attribute soft caps

As you raise Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith or Arcane, each point adds less than the last past these breakpoints. The game's scaling curve:

Attribute valueScaling reachedMeaning
10% base
1825% early ramp
6075% main soft cap — growth slows sharply
8090% second soft cap
150110% hard cap — minimal gains beyond

Most damage stats give their best returns up to 60, a smaller bump to 80, then crawl. Source: regulation CalcCorrectGraph.

Survival stats — HP / FP / Stamina per point

Real per-level values from the game data. Bold rows are the soft caps where each point starts giving much less.

What a scaling letter means

A weapon's S/A/B/C/D/E grade is a multiplier on how much your attribute adds to its damage:

GradeMultiplier
S×1.75
A×1.4
B×0.9
C×0.6
D×0.25
E×0.01

An S-scaling weapon converts your stat into damage 2.9× as efficiently as a C. See exact AR on the calculator.
