Level with breakpoints in mind
Do not assume that 40 and 60 are always the default points where diminishing returns start. Elden Ring handles some stats in ways where early points can give little, then ramp up until a cutoff.

Avoid wasting unwanted stats
Treat points in stats you do not want or need as wasted, because each stat point gets more expensive in rune cost. If you are min/maxing, classes with the lowest starting stats in things you do not want are especially valuable.

Know that Focus hits a hard decrease at 40. FP continues to ramp up until 41, and diminishing returns really start after 50.

Test faith damage safely
Use the Grace at Warmaster’s Shack to repeatedly trigger the nearby three-wolf ambush. Flame Sling damage was tested there at each Faith level from 10 to 99.

From the Gatefront site of grace, head east along the road and across the bridge. Take the fork south, and you will see ruins guarded by plants on your left.

Push into Mistwood

Enter the Weeping Peninsula
You can enter the Weeping Peninsula from Limgrave by heading south to the Bridge of Sacrifice. Continue south if you want to reach Castle Morne and fight Leonine Misbegotten for the Grafted Blade Greatsword.
